I don't know where else to put this...

My Cabal can't run for I don't know what reason after i updated my anti-virus software, AVG vers. 8. When I run Cabal while the anti-virus software is active, the AVG will not let me proceed with it, stating 2 files of Cabal are corrupted(Trojan blah blah blah), and when i run Cabal with inactive AVG, I can get to the small window to click the "Start Cabal" after the red and orange bar hit 100%, but after I clicked "Start Cabal", nth else happens. I repeated these a lot of times, but it still won't work.

In the mean time, I'm also reorganising the files inside my system, and the hard disks sure take forever to defrag, so even though I wish to be back asap, I'm inconfident to be back soon. So just to inform you guys about my absence due to this. I'll try to be back asap, to be active in the guild and before chaos in my real life start.

1.open your AVG
2.then double click on your resident shield
3.after that look at the bottom... is say something active.... unmark the active thing
4.login to your cabal
5.after you are inside the game go back to your resident shield and mark it to active

Haha, i used James's method and it worked, then i saw yours. So i used his method to solve the problem.

many methods to solve a problem lolz.. actuall AVAST antivirus is quite good also
